The Pinnacle: What if...? Part 3

This is a great time for a disclaimer:  I am the farthest thing from a political science major in the known universe. This series of postings has a two-fold purpose: One, to entertain you with possibilities of The Pinnacle’s pending conquest of the world, right under our noses. And B, to make you think just a little about what liberties you lose when you don’t keep your ear to the ground. This is certainly not to mask the truth that we are giving up our freedom a little crumb at a time.

America’s Founding Fathers worked, fought, and died to save their future generations (that’s us, people) from the tyranny they were forced to endure: restrictive government regulation, oppressive taxation, no representation. And look where we are today: Begging for higher taxes “for those who don’t pay their fair share.” Begging for more government regulation “to make things more fair.” Abdicating our representation by ignoring the issues and letting “someone else handle it” rather than take the time to examine them ourselves and make sound electoral decisions based on our knowledge of pressing issues.

I watch all this going on and then there’s the Skunk in the Woodpile I talked about last week. In 2007, they all came together in my twisted little mind, and The Pinnacle came to be. To recap, their vision is to rule the world from behind every throne. And they could be enacting their plan right under our noses. Do we think we can smell the skunk and root t out before it’s too late?

Last week, we brushed on the skunk in the woodpile concept, and about the political, social and economic importance of petroleum in The Pinnacle’s plan.

This week, let’s look at the globalization movement that denies it’s a globalization movement. We have too many groups describing themselves as environmentally-concerned, and hiding something behind their backs. To make my point, look at this article from Live Science:

Note the statement near the bottom: "As we're approaching a planet with 9 billion people on it, we need to find a global solution."

Seriously, this article couldn’t have appeared at a better time. Why do we need to globalize? Why can’t we work on good people to become more active on a personal level to preserve what natural environment we have? Why must there be some crisis that may or may not actually be a real crisis? Al Gore told us we only had ten years left, almost twenty years ago.

And this one from Web of Creation:

“Although they are uncertain of the numbers,…?” "Every day, an estimated 100 plant and animal species are lost to deforestation.”

To be fair, those are two different quotes. But my point remains the same. Crisis-mongering. Let’s look at that last one by itself, because the problem today with that statement is the same problem they had from Day One: They are uncertain of the numbers, but are demanding government action. No one really knows who came up with the “100 species a day” statement, or how. How can you say that? Is someone counting? The original statement made (I was around when it first hit the news back in the ‘90’s) was that 100 undiscovered species a day are becoming extinct. They only backed off that point after someone pointed out the fact that, iof the species are undiscovered, how can you say they are becoming extinct? Even so, is someone out there counting 100 species a day going extinct? How many of you know that, to this day, there are no set criteria that define the word “species” or differentiate it from the term “variety?”

Surely there must be something more involved here than these people’s job security. It goes deeper than concern for nature as well, because most of these  also subscribe to evolution as  having the same weight as a scientific law (It’s still just a theory, folks). Anyway, if natural selection is the law of the land, let natural selection dictate which species are obsolete. Could there be a deeper agenda yet? Let’s look at yet another example, from our friends at the Earth Liberation Front: (Beware: Graphic photo content)

If you click the link and scroll really fast past the gross stuff, look at the seals at the bottom. Apolitical? I don’t think so. Their spokesperson-who-is-trying-hard-not-to-appear-as-a-spokesperson confesses to ties with the communist movement. He/she won’t even identify themselves openly, let alone reveal ELF’s true agenda, which is to spread communism.

So how does The Pinnacle use environmental groups to further their cause? Mainly as a tool to shift paradigms to a “Global Consciousness” focus, and prepare the public to accept the possibility of a world government. They sow moles into these groups, who as entities remain ignorant of the hidden agenda whispered by the moles. They strike each from their own pedestal against capitalism and the merits of individual effort.

I’ll leave you this week with a quote from C.S. Lewis:  "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive."

And this: In the end they will lay their freedom at our feet, and say to us, "Make us your slaves, but feed us." [...] Receiving bread from us, they will see clearly that we take the bread made by their hands from them, to give it to them, without any miracle. [...] in truth they will be more thankful for taking it from our hands than for the bread itself. [...] They will marvel at us and will be awe-stricken before us, and will be proud at our being so powerful and clever that we have been able to subdue such a turbulent flock of thousands of millions. --FyodorDostoevsky?, "The Grand Inquisitor"

Folks, we only got so many crumbs of freedom left. Let’s keep them ourselves.

The Pinnacle: What If...? Part 2

Last week I suggested that a Pinnacle-type organization would exercise a three-pronged assault to finalize their world conquest. They would work on the political, social, and economic fronts to unify the world under their leadership.

Let’s look first at the political way a Pinnacle-type group would work to exercise its takeover plan. The idea, of course, is to rule from behind the throne, to stay invisible.

Even something invisible leaves a mark, though. Look at the wind. You can’t see the wind, but you can observe its affects. Leaves move. Kites fly. Policies intermingle.

If this shadow cabal were to step forward and say outright what they were really about, of course every nation on the planet would rise up and squash them like bugs. So they would be working through mainly deception and subterfuge.

The vision of the group is world peace, an end to all war. That in itself is a noble vision, I think we can all agree. However, to achieve this, globalization must occur. Borders must cease to exist. Mindsets must change. Nations must disappear, along with all “us and them” paradigms.

You can argue that this is a pipe dream, but it could be happening before our eyes. Look at the controversies raging about immigration reform in the United States. One side struggles to maintain our national identity and borders, and limit citizenship to those who enter legally and those who are born within our borders. One side seeks to legalize undocumented aliens and open the borders to all who would come. These people see all men as citizens of the world. Citizenship in nations is a passé concept. Anyone should be able to move anywhere they want. No passports, no visas or work cards. Why else would someone who crosses our borders in violation of the law is eligible for state assistance, public schooling, and even a driver’s license? Why is there such a stalemate in our legislature over this issue?

Another issue that overlaps with the other prongs of The Pinnacle’s attack. That is the assault on industry and resources. Let’s look at resources, mainly petroleum. The world runs on petroleum. It powers our vehicles, our power-generating plants, and factories. It heats our homes and all our economies would collapse without it. Therefore, it warrants a concentrated attack on all three fronts.

As a political tool, a country’s dependence on critical resources funneled through another country is a way to force the two nations to get along. In our scenario, Country A has effectively unlimited resources across the board and therefore has the potential to be 100% self-sufficient. Country B has bountiful supplies of petroleum, and not much else. Country B in is prime shape to want to be part of the World Village culture, but Country A must be reined in.
Therefore, the attack is brought through selected moles in environmental groups and legislatures to create an artificial shortage in Country A. Name a species as endangered, and lock out harvesting of oil. Sabotage a platform in the Gulf of Mexico and create a crisis, compounded and blown out of proportion by a willing media. Use lobbyists to get Congress to shut down reserves and lock up oil fields.  Twist enough facts around to create a panic in the environmental movement and that makes it easier to strangle Country A’s independence. It now must import most of its oil from Country B, whose leadership may at any time become Country A’s mortal enemy. Now you have Country A, which must be on good terms with Country B to maintain its economy, and Country B, which must depend on other countries like Country A for its income and prosperity.

Other policies in the hot seat tell me the wind is at work. Or, as my Daddy used to tell me, “Son, there’s a skunk in the woodpile.”

This skunk is the globalization movement that denies it’s a globalization movement. Instead of coming out in the open and stating its true cause, it hides in the shadows and crawls around like vermin, creating artificial crises, funding its own moles for candidates, lobbying and bribing the corruptible to get its way.

Don’t get me wrong; peace is admirable as a goal. But why hide behind agendas and propaganda, unless someone is trying to circumvent or twist the will of a populace?

Does anyone else smell a skunk in the woodpile?

In the second installment of The NADIA Project, the potential stakes are raised even higher. The lab where Nadia was built is no more. But when The Pinnacle strikes back at the government agencies trying to crack its secrets, a horrible truth emerges: The evil cabal of kingmakers is still building living weapons of mass destruction somewhere on the globe.
Jon Daniels and Nadia Velasquez must find the lab and stop it before a new wave of terror erupts across the world. In order to succeed, though, they must get through The Pinnacle's most deadly weapon: Jenna Paine.

All who stand between evil and the innocent are two ancient warriors, a misfit genius, a rogue FBI agent, and a living antimatter bomb named NADIA.

EXERPT:

Suddenly, Jenna heard the whisper of a stirring in the water underneath their bungalow. Then another, and another. She dropped her burden and drew the SIG from its holster. “Run for the car!” she shouted, and charged the driver, who was drawing his own weapon. She shot him in center-mass before he could drop behind the limo. The strike of her bullet knocked off his own aim, and his shot went wide. He went down in the dirt on the far side of the car.
Behind her, Jenna heard a cry of surprise from Anna, and turned to see a man in a wetsuit advancing along the boardwalk from the bungalow with an SKS assault rifle. She blew his head open with a shot that hit him between his eyes, and swung the SIG to fire again at a third attacker who opened up from the cover of the bungalow. Anna cried out in pain as her arm spouted red.
Jenna’s shot missed the man and spanged off the corner of the building. He shrieked as splinters sprayed into his eyes.
“I said run, dammit! Go!” Jenna screamed.

Anna finally started forward. Sofi froze at the sight of her mother’s blood pouring down her wounded arm. Jenna had to drop out of her combat stance to grab the small girl and drag her down the boardwalk to the car.
A bullet snapped through the air next to her head and she fired one-handed and off-balance at the last diver emerging from around the bungalow. The shot missed. He ducked back around the corner. She threw Sofi into the back seat of the limousine. Anna made it to the car just before Jenna slammed the door, securing them behind the bulletproof glass. She spun back around as another bullet pinged off the armored window.
Jenna vaulted over the hood of the car and landed on top of the driver, who had managed to crawl into a defilade behind the front of the car. Wounded the giant man was, but far from disabled, even with a .45 round in his belly. He grabbed her ankle as she came down and she sprawled clumsily onto the sand. The SIG dropped from her hand as she lost her balance.
She hit hard on one knee and he was on top of her in a flash, whipping open a butterfly knife as he pinned her down by sheer weight. One of Jenna’s hands was pinned behind her back as she landed, and the driver grabbed her free wrist as he brought the knife down at her chest.

The Pinnacle: What if…? Part One

So what would it look like if the Pinnacle were real? How would they operate?

First, for beginners, The Pinnacle is the name of my group of bad guys. Their aim is simple, although clichéd: World domination. How they differ from the Bond villains or Dr. Evil and his screaming hordes is this: The Pinnacle could do it, and no one would ever know. Their goal is not to rule openly, but as the power behind the throne. Thus, the true leadership stays invisible. On the surface, all looks as though nothing has changed. Their motto, after all, is Praestat facere rex ac esse rex. “It is better to make a king than to be a king.”

Think of it this way: In the United States as in other countries, we have elections, and if we don’t like a certain official, we vote them out of office. It’s that simple. Other nations have dictatorships or monarchies of some nature. Rebellion, coup or assassination is usually what changes leadership in these areas. At any rate, it’s common for a country’s leader to lose his position, if not his life at the hands of a dissatisfied populace.

But what if a group could remain anonymous, behind the scenes as it were, and load elections with their own candidates? They could load the process with their own puppets, and we would never know. So either way, the shadow group is guaranteed their real goal, which is power. We’ll discuss this more in-depth in later installments. But the point is, it can be done. What if it already is being done? Would we know the warning signs?

One would have to understand the plan would take years and perhaps decades to fulfill. The founders would realize that they may never live to see the final realization of their dream. But how many movements today have the same far-sighted vision? Certainly, the Communist movement, the Socialists, Greenpeace and PETA, among others. It takes patience to subjugate the world and make them like it.

Look at the constrictor order of snakes. They lie in wait, for days if need be, for their prey to wander within striking range. Even after they attack, the process is often slow. They take their time. Wrapping their coils about the victim is only the first step. They don’t simply crush the life from their prey by brute force. No, they wait until the victim exhales, and then with each breath they tighten, ever so slightly. This prevents the victim from being able to inhale. Slowly, they suffocate, and the snake has all the time it needs to consume its meal.

The Pinnacle has been working behind the scenes, hiding in the brush, waiting for the moment to strike. It has been inserting converts into the areas of business, entertainment, news media, shipping, technology, and the oil industry. Once they have leadership of these industries, the strangulation begins.

Other teams will infiltrate social movements and political parties. Thus, the attack will be a three-pronged assault aimed at dulling the public’s senses to what’s really happening: Economic, social, and political.

We’ll discuss these areas beginning next week. Feel free to comment as we go along.

“What’s one more little white lie?”

There's only one thing that pretty, popular TV reporter Nadia Velasquez is missing: her memory from before the explosion that killed everyone else in the room, including the President of Nigeria. But from the moment she meets FBI agent Jon Daniels, all hell breaks loose. Friends turn into deadly enemies overnight, and no one can be truly trusted.

When Jon and Nadia investigate further, they discover the living terror that is the truth behind Nadia's existence, a truth that could mean the death of millions.

Becoming NADIA is a winner of the EPIC eBook Award for Best Suspense/Thriller at EPICon 2012, and is a Top Ten finisher in the Preditors and Editors' Readers Poll.
